Iranian ‘Texas’ to become trilogy

The producer of 'Texas' has confirmed that the script for the third film of ‘Texas’ trilogy is currently underway.

According to the producer, Ebrahim Ameriyan, the script for ‘Texas 3’ is being written and he hopes the requirements for the production of the movie will be provided soon.

The film crew has not yet decided about the location of the ‘Texas 3’. According to the producer, they may choose Brazil for filming. The first film of the ‘Texas’ trilogy was shot in Brazil.

‘Texas 3’ would certainly start filming this year', said the producer.

Directed by Masoud Atyabi ‘Texas 1’ was filmed in Texas in 2017 in Brazil and was warmly welcomed by the audience.

‘Texas 2’ is currently on the screen and is announced as one of the bestselling films of Iranian domestic cinema theaters for April 26-May 2.

“To make his dream come true, Bahram adopts a Brazilian child to increase his chances of moving there. The next step which involves a money transfer to Sasan to complete the transaction is where it all begins,” a short synopsis of the flick reads.
